Frankemstein from Mary Shelly

RESEARCH:
Find out what makes Mary Shelley's Frankenstein: Frankenstein a novel written by Mary Shelly about a creature produced by an unorthodox scientific experiment. Shelley started writing the story when she was eighteen, and the novel was published when she was twenty-one. The first edition was published in London in 1818.
Masterpiece a classical:Frankenstein is infused with some elements of the gothic novel and the romantic movement and is also considered to be one of the earliest examples of science fiction. Brian Aldiss has argued that it should be considered the first true science fiction story, because unlike in previous stories with fantastical elements resembling those of later science fiction, the central character "makes a deliberate decision" and "turns to modern experiments in the laboratory" to achieve fantastic results] It has had a considerable influence across literature and popular culture and a complete genre of horror stories and films.
Universal story: The story of Frankenstein, has formed the basis of many original novels over the years, some of which were considered sequels to Shelley's original work, and some of which were based more upon the character as portrayed in the Universal films.
THE STORY:
Mary Shelly: She born on 30 August 1797 and she died on 1 February 1851. She was an English novelist, short story wrier, dramatist, essayist, biographer, and travel writer, best known for her Gothic novel Frankenstein.

The plot: Victor first describes his early life in Geneva. At the end of a blissful childhood spent in the company of Elizabeth a and friend, Henry Clerval. Victor enters the university to study natural philosophy and chemistry. There, he is consumed by the desire to discover the secret of life and, after several years of research, becomes convinced that he has found it. Victor spends months creating a creature out of old body parts. One night, in his apartment, he brings his creation to life. When he looks at the monstrosity that he has created, however, the sight horrifies him. After a night of sleep, interrupted by the specter of the monster looming over him, Victor wants to kill the monster but he goes away.
